SOCIN 2015 - Social Innovations: Theoretical and Practical Insights

We would like to invite you to submit proposals for the 4th international interdisciplinary scientific conference Social Innovations: Theoretical and Practical Insights (SOCIN 2015), which is going to be held on 24-25 September, 2015, at Mykolas Romeris University, Vilnius, Lithuania. The conference Social Innovations: Theoretical and Practical Insights (SOCIN 2015) aims to encourage researchers to discuss the results of their investigations in the area of social innovations for the positive societal change. The concept of social innovations involves several areas of knowledge starting from social technologies to justice and human rights, from entrepreneurship and sustainable development in business, public and non-profit sectors to quality of life and social responsibility, from education innovations to challenges in economics. Multidisciplinary approach allows to integrate a wide range of aspects of different disciplines and to create the basis for a common understanding of contemporary world. SOCIN 2015 is organised in 5 sections: Section A: Justice, Security and Human Rights Section B: Social Technologies Section C: Sustainable Development in the Global Context Section D: Individual, Family and Community Well-Being Section E: Continuation and Changes of Values in Global Society SOCIN 2015 papers will be reviewed by the conference Scientific Committee. The accepted papers will be submitted to Elsevier Procedia – Social and Behavioral Sciences. Selected best papers will be considered for publication in: – a special issue of Global Business and Economics Review, ISSN 1745-1329 (SCOPUS), - Asian Journal of Women's Studies, ISSN 1225-9276 (Tomson Reuters Web of Sciences), – Economics & Sociology, ISSN 2071-789X (SCOPUS), – Public Policy and Administration, ISSN 1648-2603 (SCOPUS), – Social Technologies, ISSN 2029-7564 (EBSCO). The conference abstracts will be published in the conference webpage before 24 September, 2015.
